There are 4 "endings" in the game.
After that point, you’re given the choice of either helping one of the main four factions. Also, unlike previous games, the ending is voiced by the Sole Survivor instead of Ron Perlman. Get the Minutemen Ending Just one loose end to tie up. The main story concludes once you reach the institute. As I said in my review, the ending, and really the entire last third of the game, really blew away all my expectations.
Closer to the end you're locked out from the other factions. There are four endings to Fallout 4. All four factions will have been met by that time, they are the Brotherhood, the Minutemen, the Railroad, and the Institute. Or at least, my ending.
Only the choice of completing Nuclear Family or The Nuclear Option has any effect on the ending. Before teleporting, you're faced with a choice. Finishing Fallout 4's Nuclear Option quest this way gives you the Minutemen Ending, but you are now free to go piss off factions or supermax your character without worrying about the main quest.
The ending of the Fallout 4. Unlike previous games, the Fallout 4 ending cutscene does not change based on how the Sole Survivor has finished most quests or interacted with other people. Institute, Brotherhood of Steel, Railroad and the Minutemen (I picked the Minutemen).
