August 19, 2019 – New McKinsey research has uncovered a fascinating correlation between gender diversity and corporate performance. Earlier today consulting behemoth McKinsey released a 2020 report entitled Diversity Wins: How inclusion matters. As this report shows, however, I&D is a powerful enabler of business performance. Widely cited, the report has influenced I&D policy-setting and transformation efforts by corporations, the public sector, and third-sector organizations worldwide. Another forthcoming McKinsey report, about Latin America, highlights the strong correlation between gender diversity and positive behavior directly related to better organizational health—which, in turn, is associated with better business performance.
