Hunter arts are bound to the d-pad. Never before World at least, and I can't remember if it's even in that game. Mount monsters from mid-air using the Aerial style or make the most out of the advantageous Hunter Arts abilities with the Striker style.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, on the other hand, fits squarely in line with previous Monster Hunters. Monster Hunter Generations introduces new gameplay mechanics including Styles and Hunter Arts that can further refine a very personalized playstyle.
