The historic St. John’s Church across from the White House caught fire Sunday night in what’s suspected to be an arson attack by the protesters:. Multiple cars and dumpsters were set on fire mere blocks from the White House. The National Guard has been activated in Washington DC to assist local police handling protests around the White House, where a standoff continues, sporadically erupting in clashes. @kevincorke is reporting the historic St. John’s church in Washington, D.C. is being burned by rioters.
