The Widener Partnership Charter School seeks to foster a holistic, higher order, and hands-on instructional program to enable our students to develop into highly engaged world citizens and lifelong learners. Partnering with the CommunityIn partnership with community leaders and residents of Chester, Pennsylvania, Widener University launched the Widener Partnership Charter School (WPCS) in September 2006. Widener Partnership enrollment was 250 pupils in 2010 and grew to 300 in 2011.

Located adjacent to the Widener University campus, the WPCS is a K-8 elementary school serving the families of the Chester-Upland School District.

Widener Partnership Charter School receives Title I funding through the grant’s “schoolwide” funding program.
